Transfer of Wealth
The net worth of Lorain County is estimated at $20.2 billion. During the coming decade, $3.42 billion is expected to transfer from one generation to the next. Over the next 50 years, the estimated transfer of wealth for Lorain County is $23.86 billion. In the next ten years, if just five percent of this transfer could be invested at the Community Foundation of Lorain County in endowed funds, nearly $170.83 million would be gained and an estimated $8.54 million could be available annually to improve the quality of life in our community and secure our future.
